1. Goal Priorities in Shirofune
Shirofune allows users to define multiple goal priorities for optimization:
- Priority 1: The main goal Shirofune optimizes for and uses in reports.
- Priority 2: A fallback goal in case there’s not enough Priority 1 data.
- Priority 3: A reference metric that appears in reports but is not used for optimization.
Important Notes:
- If Revenue is set as Priority 1, you cannot set Transactions or Conversions as priorities.
- Shirofune's interface will adjust to either ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) or CPA (Cost Per Acquisition), depending on the selected Priority 1 goal.
2. Setting Up Goals in Shirofune
Selecting Goals from Different Platforms
- Users can select Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, TikTok, and more.
- The system displays all available conversion goals from the selected platform.
- A search function allows users to find the specific goal they want to assign.
Third-Party Attribution Integration
- Shirofune supports third-party attribution platforms like:
- Triple Whale
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Other tracking tools
- Data from these platforms can be imported into Shirofune and used for reporting and optimization.
- Example: A business using GA4 can compare GA4 revenue against their Priority 1 goal side by side.
3. Managing Multiple Goals and Budget Groups
- Users can assign different goals for specific budget groups.
- Example: A company running campaigns for both conversion-focused and brand-awareness goals can assign "Conversions" to one group and "Reach" to another.
- To do this:
- Click the plus (+) button.
- Select the budget group.
- Assign a different Priority 1 goal to that group.
4. Finalizing and Adjusting Goal Priorities
- Goals can be reordered by dragging them within the priority list.
- This allows businesses to quickly adjust their optimization strategy.
- Reports will automatically reflect the new priorities.
