Both budget groups and monitoring groups are functions for grouping and managing campaigns, etc., but there are specific differences as follows.
■Purpose
Budget Group: Mainly for people who are operating to automatically manage budgets and optimize bids
Monitoring Group: Mainly for people who have entrusted operations to others to monitor progress
■Configurable Granularity
Budget Group: Account/Campaign level only
Monitoring Group: Account level/Campaign level/Ad group level
■Number of Configurable Perspectives
Budget Group: One (If a group is created by platform, it cannot be created by product)
Monitoring Group: Multiple (Multiple groupings with different perspectives such as by platform/by product are possible)
■Settings
Budget Group: Budget (required)・Maximum acquisition cost/Minimum ROAS (optional)
Monitoring Group: Reference budget (optional)・Reference acquisition cost/ROAS (optional)
■Alert Function
Budget Group: None (Assumes operation based on the set budget and acquisition efficiency)
Monitoring Group: Available (Because operations are entrusted to others and not controlled by oneself)
